  • Data access

Description

Overview

Law firms and Corporate legal departments have multiple legal tech systems to manage financial data, legal intake, and matters. It is vital to have the latest view of data in each system so your team members spend less time reviewing data across multiple tools, and can focus on their billable tasks. However, ensuring that all data is up to date in each system would be an arduous and time consuming manual task.

To centralize the legal functions from various systems, HighQ, with its iSheets API, is an ideal platform to automate data import for matter management and reporting. integrations can be built with external financial systems to create a financial summary within the HighQ iSheet, integrations can be built with external legal intake systems to create a matter summary within the HighQ iSheet, integrations can be built to retrieve contract metadata to provide further details for the matter within the HighQ iSheet.

Key Benefits:

With this multi way data synchronization into HighQ,

  1. 1Improve client relationships: your clients will have access to the latest financial updates and status of their matter.
  2. 2Work efficiency: Enable your team to work more efficiently, by having all data related to their matter accessible in one place.
  3. 3Eliminate manual data reconciliation tasks: Automate data synchronization between your legal tech tools.

HighQ iSheets is a powerful tool to store tabular data and generate visualizations and management reports

  1. ISheet template: Within HighQ, create an iSheet template with the needed reporting fields (e.g. financial summary details, matter overview).
  2. Mapping exercise: Map the data from the external system to the iSheet template fields.
  3. Integration: Use HighQ iSheet API to sync the data from the external system to HighQ iSheet (and, optionally, push update data back to the external system).
  4. Schedule recurring data retrieval (or synchronization). Note: as there may be a large volume of data, it is recommended to schedule the data retrieval / synchronization to prevent performance issues for users.
  5. Leverage HighQ iSheet functionality to generate visualizations and reports.
